DIY mini top hat

okay so i wanted to do this for a while but i couldnt be borthered mind you this hat didnt turn out so well so i'll try another one tomorrow but i thought id just show you guys so that way you can get a little idea on how to do it
without a sewing machine lol
Also i know the photos are a litle drak its because it was pourrriinngg down with rain today

Photobucket
i started off with some carbored i just used a chocolate wrapper and cut it in 1/2 and cut one 1/2 again.

you can also use a loo roll but i found this way easier

you then roll the big piece of crabored into a log and hot glue the ends.
thne with the two smaller parts you hotglue the tips of the ends of teh tube to the middle of teh other parts and then you have your base and top at the top cut around it so it sits flat and doesnt have a rim.
on teh button part you will want a rim so just try and cut it into a round shape =/ i failed at this part but you can just add more cardbored later on.

Then i went and got some white cloth and wraped it around, where the base meet the rim i pipped hot glue and pulled the fabric around.

Photobucket
then i pushed the fabric under and stuck other bits on
Photobucket
this is where you can change the shape of yoru rim before you glue the rest of teh fabric on.

the under part of the hat i glued on a hair clip.. the ones you can get for hair extentions.

this is what it looks like on my toy dog

and since i cant get a good picture of it on me here is a kinda picture

Next time well tomorrow im thinking about maybe doing a top hat with mini red fabric ross on it.
